About me

I'm both British and Australian, and a bit of a mutt. I lived in many countries in my twenties and early thirties, and for the last 11 years Seattle has been my home. It took me a long time to fall in love with Seattle, and I'm not gonna lie, it can get tough during the Big Dark, but right now I wouldn't want to call anywhere else home. I love the waterfront, the nightlife, my weird neighbourhood, the mountains, and the way everyone joined in with the Australian fans at the World Cup.

As a human, I try to live my life the way I'd want for my clients: choose good people as friends, take risks, try new things, and engage more with what gives my life meaning and purpose. My children are in their final years of high school, and right now my time outside work is focused on creating joyful experiences and community with and for them. Don't get me wrong: I'm not a saintly mother. At 5 pm in my house, you might hear some choice feral Australian expletives. Good enough is aspirational. I'm fallible too.

My hobbies right now are dancing (I love EDM), gardening, wandering around the neighbourhood with my dogs, and cycling. They do change, though. If you'd read this website during the pandemic, they were totally different!
